Usage Limits Overview

GleanMark offers different subscription tiers, each with specific limits on how many trademarks and owners you can monitor. This guide explains how limits work and what to do when you reach them.

What Counts Toward Your Limits?

Tracked Trademarks

Any trademark added to a portfolio counts toward your limit. The same trademark in multiple portfolios only counts once.

  • Adding a trademark: Uses 1 slot
  • Same trademark in 3 portfolios: Still uses 1 slot
  • Removing from all portfolios: Frees up 1 slot

Tracked Owners

Each owner you explicitly track counts toward your limit.

  • Tracking an owner: Uses 1 slot
  • Untracking an owner: Frees up 1 slot

Portfolios

Each portfolio you create counts toward your limit (if your plan has portfolio limits).

Checking Your Current Usage

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription
  2. View your current usage vs. limits
  3. Usage bars show percentage consumed

What Happens When You Reach a Limit?

When you reach your limit:

  • You cannot add more items of that type
  • Existing monitoring continues uninterrupted
  • You'll see a notification prompting you to upgrade or free up slots

Freeing Up Capacity

To free up slots without upgrading:

  • Trademarks: Remove trademarks from all portfolios
  • Owners: Untrack owners you no longer need to monitor
  • Portfolios: Delete empty or unused portfolios

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Complete payment
  5. New limits take effect immediately

Enterprise Plans

For organizations with larger needs, Enterprise plans offer:

  • Unlimited trademarks and owners
  • Priority support
  • Custom integrations
  • Dedicated account management
